In 1996 American Wiping Cloth & Rag began operating in Greer, South Carolina. It is a descendant of Grossman Industries, a 95 year-old family run multi-faceted recycling business originally located in Columbus, Ohio. American Wiping Cloth & Rag is the only manufacturer and distributor of wiping rags in South Carolina's upstate. Our operations include cutting, packing and distributing industrial wiping rags, as well as preparation of used textiles for distribution to mills for reprocessing.
